Charlotte Daring Bride Young Love Historical Romance Book 8 eBook Terri Grace Misty Shae Reviews
I loved this story from beginning to end. I definitely can't wait to read the next one from this author
Another good story by this very talented author. I have enjoyed reading her other books and look forward to more.
Another truly great read by Terri Grace. What is real treasure? Very well written and extremely clean. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the 57th book I read by Terri Grace. I loved ❤ this book's storyline. I loved ❤ Charlotte's character. I loved ❤ Norman's character. I loved ❤ how Charlotte & Norman met. I loved ❤ the ending. Awesome job Ms. Grace.
A young woman always an adventurous girl found a map in the attic where her adventurous Grandfather's things were stored after he was killed. The map was under a floor board, she wrote to his friend out west to ask about the map, when she arrived he had already passed leaving everything to his caregiver. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from at a special price and from a delightful group of authors who keep me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down.
As with all the Terri Grace books, there is always a lesson and a witness to God’s perfect grace. The book is part of a series but reads as a standalone. The story shares God’s love without being preachy. The story will include a mystery, an adventure, a treasure map, and learning what matters the most in life is not things, but people and love.
Charlotte Stevens has an adventurous nature, just like her late grandfather. While searching in the family attic, she finds a loose board, and underneath a map with her grandfather’s writing. Letters to his friend in Williston, North Dakota will set this adventure in motion. “I came out west to seek adventure and to find a treasure. I’m not going to let fear hold me back now.”
The plot will take Charlotte to Williston, North Dakota, along with family servants, Zebu and his wife, Tabitha. Norman Elliott will meet them, and between him and Charlotte, they will go out on a visit to an Indian Village. Both will learn that what is important is treasures that are monetary from Chief Big Foot. “My treasure is right here.” He indicated the tent. “And out there,” he pointed to the door flap. “A man like me has no need for worldly goods. I have family and love.” Will Charlotte and Norman realize that same lesson? “You’re all the treasure I’ll ever need.” “And an adventure with you is exactly what I was looking for.”
Disclosure I received an e-copy of this book and voluntarily read and reviewed, All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.
The beginning was great until they kiss & lost the adventure. Wish they could have had both. Righted her reason and continued the adventure. The kiss felt too soon like more should have happened before.
The story has action and mystery. I enjoy a short story in this fast world. The subject in this story kept the pace going but didn't leave you hanging
